2. 20 credit points (credits) are the minimum a student has to collect in the winter course. Credits can be gained by:
presentation of one or more topics during the tutorial. The selection of a topic is up to each student
in-class participation, especially during discussions which are part of topic presentations
good results in tests
When a tutorial is not held (due to state holidays or “dean/rector days”, etc.), the limit of 20 credits will be not reduced accordingly.
In addition, the following conditions have to be met:
each student must have at least one presentation per semester (it is not possible to gain all credits for discussion and tests only)
each student can be credited for no more than 1 presentation in one tutorial
Each student resolves the potential lack of credits in the end of semester with his own instructor individually.
Evaluation of presentations
Presentations are judged in these areas:
contents, factual elaboration (0 – 2 credits)
formal aspect (0 – 1 credit)
summary and discussion (0 – 2 credits)
Control tests
Tree tests will have to be passed during the winter semester:
General physiology, membrane potential
Heart and circulation
Blood and breathing
2 credits are able to gain for each test.
Successful completion of the course in both semesters.
